LA County Office of Education

I started out as a freelance videographer in 1988. For two years I visited classrooms and teachers taping exemplar instruction. I then became an editor and later directed "live" TV broadcasts for instructional programming distributed nationally on PBS. As the project coordinator for TEAMS Distance Learning I produced staff development workshops for K‐12 teachers based upon the national frameworks for science, language arts and mathematics. I created lesson plans and supervised their implementation throughout the Los Angeles Unified School District. I also was actively involved in the purchase and design of several editing bays, studio facilities and recruited and trained TV production personnel.
