Differentiated Instruction (DI) and Understanding by Design (UbD) - Translating Theory Into Action
introduces the concept of curriculum mapping and is followed by a discussion
of how participants’ districts use that tool or others, to align standards
across the grade levels and curriculum areas.
Participants will begin by working on the activity they identified using the on-line template in week 3. They will be introduced to some new tools to gauge the effectiveness of their design. The final project requirements will also be discussed.
