Week Six: Final Projects
Prepare Presentation
After you have finished making any last minute changes to your lesson/activity, you will need to prepare two things for our last face-to-face class: |
Short Informal
Presentation:
First, you will prepare a short presentation to the class of not more than 3
minutes explaining your lesson/activity. This should an overview or summary
of what your lesson/activity is all about. Participants who are interested in
learning more can discuss your activity with you during the Gallery Walk.
Gallery Walk
The second activity will be a gallery walk for participants to display
- a hard copy of their lesson
- visuals to support your lesson or ‘dress up’ your gallery space (optional)
- props and/or other lesson materials (optional)
We will spend a total of
about 45 minutes for the gallery walk. After the materials are set up and displayed,
the class will be divided into two groups.
Group B will first host Group A. Group A will spend about 20 minutes looking
at Group B materials and interacting with Group B teachers about their activities.
Then we will switch, and Group A will host Group B who will have about 20 minutes
to do the same.
