Leadership for the 21st Century: Teaching, Learning, and Technology

Data, Data Everywhere!

Educators are inundated with data: test scores, demographics, attendance, and the list goes on. What data can you look at to better understand how technology is being used in your school? What data do you already have? What questions do you have?

This week, you'll take a look at some sample data collected from classrooms and reflect on what it tells you about technology use in those classrooms. Then, using the MA STaR chart, you'll brainstorm the kinds of data that can best tell you what's going on in your school in regards to technology use.

Finally, you'll create a short online survey using MassONE which you'll administer at school prior to our next face-to-face class.

Tips for writing survey questions.
